About Our Camp
Clear Lake Fiddle Camp offers an immersive musical experience where participants explore a wide range of playing styles under the guidance of professional musicians and instructors. Lessons are available in fiddle, guitar, piano, and vocals, all set against the stunning backdrop of Wasagaming on Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park. Comfortable on-site facilities provide full meal service and accommodations. The camp runs from Sunday, July 12 through Thursday evening, July 16, 2026.
Clear Lake Fiddle Camp is proudly family-friendly, offering much more than instrumental instruction. Participants can enjoy songwriting sessions, record a professionally produced CD, take tennis lessons with certified professionals from the U.S. and U.K., and join in dancing, concerts, bonfires, and open jam sessions. Highlights include an Old-Time Dance at historic Danceland—a designated provincial heritage site—and a traditional feast, concert, and dance at the iconic 1929 Dining and Lounge.
Beyond the music, campers can take advantage of the many recreational activities available in the park, including swimming, fishing, canoeing, tennis, pickleball, golf, bowling, horseback riding, volleyball, nature trails, bison viewing, the naturalist museum at the Interpretive Centre, a spa, a movie theatre, and much more.
